Two Powerful Gaming Notebooks Compared

A few months back we paired off the Killer Notebooks Executioner against the Eurocom Divine Duo and ended up with some surprising results.
The Killer Notebooks Executioner is back and this time it has an even more powerful graphics chip, the Nvidia GeForce Go 7950GTX (the last time out we tested a unit with Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX). Once again, we've paired it off against a competitor built on an identical chassis and similar specifications, the WidowPC Sting 517D.
As tested, both units had the same chassis, battery, CPU, motherboard and graphics card though they were configured with different memory, cooling and hard drives.

Liebermann Olympus 20" Widescreen Notebook with SLI Announced

Just when you thought a 19" notebook was big, the Liebermann Olympus 20" gets rolled out. The Olympus 20" seems almost mythical based on the spec sheet. It supports Intel's Pentium-D Dual-Core and Extreme Edition processors, along with quad DVI-out, an integrated 3 megapixel camera, dual Blue-Ray and HD-DVD optical drives, and dual graphics cards with up to 1GB RAM each.....
..
The Liebermann Olympus 20" sounds pretty hot right? The only down side is the machine sounds too good to be true, and may in fact be. There's no release date known and the company representative we talked with could offer no guidance on pricing either. Rest assured it will probably approach, if not surpass $10,000. If nothing else it acts as a nice proof of concept.

Rock SLI Xtreme SL Pro laptop reviewed

Close your eyes and picture two 7950GTX graphics cards, an SLI motherboard, a dual core AMD processor, RAID SATA hard disks, 20" widescreen TFT and DVD writer, then squeeze all that into a laptop - you'll probably be thinking we're crazy... well rock has done just that!

Just a quick note, I wanted to add more of text and pictures of this laptop to my blog, but it seems that folks from Driverheaven are paranoid, and have copy-protected everythink on their web (from paragraphs to pictures). So there's isn't an easy way to include most of text or pictures. So head over there and read all about it
